Watch out Singapore! Sebastian Tan, our very own musical theatre star, returns from a highly successful run of Miss Saigon (UK) to be your Broadway Beng®! Of his smashing UK experience, Sebastian quips “I learnt a lot about how the English don’t know to ‘lim teh’ or ‘lim jiu’ or talk properly to ‘lim peh’!” He just loves to be back home. Back to his roots as a born-and-bred-in-Redhill, Chow Ah Beng! and he is dying to tell us all about it.
Before he left for the UK, Sebastian “…brought down the house…” (Straits Times) in KaraUok! Well, expect no less this time round. Come enjoy his hokkien inspired humour as he ponders the difference between all things East and West. Come listen to his silky smooth “I’m a Ge Tai God” crooning voice as he rips into those Show Tunes. You also won’t want to miss his Sexy Singing Trio: “The Chio Bu’s”! Starring former Power 98 DJ Denise Tan, Leigh MacDonald “Forbidden City” and Jacky Pereira “Sleeping Beauty”. He’s living proof that you CAN take the Chinese Helicopter out of Miss Saigon!

For a limited run only, our Broadway Beng® returns with his critically acclaimed madcap musical stand up comedy. Local humour delivered in true blue Ah-Beng “Hokkien-Engrish”! You saw Sebastian Tan “Bring the house down” (Straits Times) in KaraUok and in “a nuanced performance as Ah Beng” (TODAY) in the recently produced Army Daze. Well, you must catch this UK Miss Saigon star now as he “yo ah yo ah” with his very “tok kong” back up singers/ dancers/ ktv girls, the Chio Buus! Starring Donna Daniels, Denise Tan and Jackie Pereira! There’ll be lots and lots of side-splitting humour, big showtunes and heartwrenching Hokkien songs. “Laugh until siao! You donch wan me?”

The Dim Sum Dollies® star in their VERY FIRST off-broadway hit musical! Written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, the Academy Award winning pair who brought you Disney’s musical hits, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin! A blood-thirsty mutant evil orchid threatens to seduce our souls and take over the world! Nerdy florist Seymour (Hossan Leong) and his ditzy girlfriend Audrey (Denise Tan) prepare to fight this battle between good and evil with a little help from our kay-poh-chee story-tellers (Dim Sum Dollies).
