Multiple Personalities Disorder!

31 January – 10 February 2007
Drama Centre Theatre

Hossan Leong, the funniest “SPLIT” personality in Singapore, takes stand-up comedy to Riotous New Heights. Catch it! It’s New! It’s Funny! It’s Bizarre…and DEFINITELY INSANE! Watch out Singapore! Hossan Leong is the uncivil servant in charge of the newest Ministry department. He’s been tasked with luring foreign talent to our fair shores. Where will he begin? Some glamour perhaps as he tries his best to convince Personalities from all over the world to come set up home in Singapore! When his time is running out and he has nothing to show for, a little screw in his little head comes loose and he turns Absolutely Schizo! In a desperate attempt to convince his boss and himself that he has not failed, he starts to morph into some of the entertainment scene’s most popular ex-cons… I mean, icons!

One moment he’s down and out Barry Moneylow auditioning for the National Day Parade. Next, he’s Whitney Whoseturn lamenting her marriage woes as she waits in line at immigration. Blink, and he’s back as Kenny Rogered Chicken, waxing lyrical about country music and Hainanese kampong chicken, then poof! It’s Hossan as Prints! The artist formerly known as a symbol, trying out a new career in graphics for Singapore’s many campaigns of course!

Broadway Beng® Returns

3 – 12 May 2007
Drama Centre Theatre

It’s time again to catch the “Next big thing in Singapore comedy…” (Straits Times, Life!) Last year, Sebastian Tan brought the house down with his Engrish speaking, Hokkien singing Broadway Beng® and you laughed until Lao Jio (leaky bladder). So, because we love to hear you laughing… we bring him BAAAACCK! Your Broadway Beng returns to stage with a brand new show. This time even more Tok Kong (prestigious) than before.

This year he goes to the Drama Centre, got 4 piece Ge Tai band, 40 square metre stage, 4 000 light bulbs and 40 000 minutes of rehearsal. Don’t see this talk cock king no up! This year, he will prepare you for social change. How to integrate with your integrated resort? Let the Broadway Beng show you. After all, who has the years of experience in all things gambling – and we don’t just mean the Chinese New Year kind hor. This “Ai Pia Jia Eh Yah” (must fight then can win) Choe Ah Beng (smelly Chinese boy) wants to tell you something: “Life is a gamble and you always have to bet BIG! Then after the BIG betting, you close your eyes tight tight, sing a Broadway song, maybe from Less Miserables, and pray to Ti Kong (Heavenly Father)…say “Plureeez Ti Kong don’t let me lose until Tng Kor (take off trousers)! But if in case I lose, let me have clean underwear!”

What’s more? This year, the Broadway Beng will still have his very very talented, very very good hearted, somewhat pretty Chio Buus! (Denise Tan “Little Shop of Horrors”, Jacky Pereira “Forbidden City” and Leigh MacDonald “Forbidden City”) Watch out hor…these Chio Buus will bat their eye lashes, sing their good-hearted hearts out and stiletto high kick you until you Song Song Ki Jurong (happy happy go Jurong)! CANNOT MISS!
